Dr. Michael Allen 

The Rev. Dr. Michael Allen is the John Dyer Trimble Professor of Systematic Theology and Academic Dean of Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Dr. Allen has been a Visiting Fellow of the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge. He previously taught at Knox Theological Seminary for five years, where he held the Kennedy Chair of Systematic Theology. He is a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America and serves as Theologian-in-Residence at New City Orlando. He’s written many books, most recently editing The New Cambridge Companion to Christian Doctrine (Cambridge University Press, 2023) and writing The Fear of the Lord: Essays on Theological Method (T & T Clark, 2022) and The Knowledge of God: Essays on God, Christ, and Church (T & T Clark, 2022). He served for years on the editorial team of the International Journal of Systematic Theology and now serves as a senior editor for Zondervan Academic’s New Studies in Dogmatics series and for the T & T Clark International Theological Commentary series. Dr. Allen and his wife, Emily, have two sons, Jackson and Will.
